Design of smoke exhaust pipeline

1. 2. It is recommended that Weifang power generation units do not share exhaust pipes with furnaces, boilers, or other equipment. The accumulation of carbon dust and condensate emitted by equipment during operation can cause damage to non operating units, and the lack of lubrication in passive driven boosters can lead to bearing failures.

3. The smoke exhaust pipe terminal should be equipped with rainproof caps, coverings, and other rainproof designs to prevent snow from entering. The smoke pipe near the unit should be equipped with a condensate collector and a drain valve.

4. The exhaust pipe should be well supported and fixed.

5. Unsupported noise reduction should not be installed at the unit manifold or unit boost outlet.

The length of the smoke exhaust pipe: shorten the length of the smoke exhaust system as much as possible to reduce the system's resistance (back pressure); Facilitating smoke emissions; Reduce the chance of gas condensation and decrease the degree of flue gas.

Unit smoke exhaust system limitation: Minimize the pressure value of the smoke exhaust system as much as possible. Excessive pressure values can negatively affect combustion efficiency, increase exhaust temperature, resulting in engine power loss and shortened working life. Therefore, the length of the smoke pipe should be shortened as much as possible, the number of bends should be reduced, the silencing resistance should be reduced, and the diameter of the smoke pipe should be increased.
